OBJECTIVE

I am a responsible, motivated individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of knowing and wanting what is best for the whole.  I am seeking permanent, full-time employment at any level that will allow me to work with my employer to meet the highest standards possible.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

I have spent over 2 years as an industrial electrical apprentice at timken.  Beyond this, I have several years of college experience including electronics and computer based classes, although I have no degree.  I am a fast learner and am willing to perform whatever training will be necessary to properly fill a position.  I have background in troubleshooting, gathering field data and entering it into a database for Fedex Ground.  I also have prior QA training and experience due to my past employment at Express Pkg., Meteor Sealing Systems, and Fedex Ground.  I have become accustomed to following strict documentation practices due to my employment at Zimmer OSP and Express Pkg.

WORK EXPERIENCE

08/2011- present

The Timken Co., Electrical apprentice, Finisher, fill in supervisor

Primary functions include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining               various equipment throughout the plant. Prior to this I was a craneman,               straightener operator and fill in supervisor.

01/2011-08/2011

Meteor Sealing Systems, Roving Auditor (QA)

Quickly promoted to this after original 90 day period was over.  The primary responsibilities include performing quality checks throughout the shift and educating direct labor employees of quality standards and procedures.

 

 

05/2010-01/2011

Express Packaging Inc, QA

Initial position was QC, which included performing quality checks on an individual line throughout the shift and managing the workers on the line in a manner which would achieve maximum efficiency and quality.  Was quickly promoted to QA, which includes managing the QC’s, performing quality checks to insure they were doing their work properly and correcting the problem if they are not.  Responsible for up to 8 or more lines per shift and knowing all the quality criteria for every line in the facility.

 

09/2005-06/2009

Zimmer OSP, General Labor

Responsibilities included knowledge of 3 different positions and all products associated with these.  Primary position was package inspection and packaging, which included knowledge of all substandard criteria and all packaging procedures for all products.  Secondary position was Utility which included following proper documentation practices for opening and closing all orders for the department along with keeping the department running.  Also performed product assembly on the assembly lines for several departments.

Primary responsibilities included data entry and processing of customs documents for outbound packages; also responsible for maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting of OVC tracking systems in local vans; the larger portion of the work was unsupervised and based on trust.
